Carotex 1A "whaleskin"
was specifically designed to resist the attack of
starches, resins, emulsions and other chemicals commonly
used in textile slashing yarns. Due to the
collection of industrial ends being handled instead of
fabrics, it is most important that the roll cover resist
the tendency to groove as a result of uneven tension.
"Whaleskin's" excellent abrasion resistance
accomplishes this with ease.

9 castable urethane is a unique, high quality cover
which combines many of the advantages of rigid plastics
and metals with the extensibility and elasticity of
rubber. Excellent abrasion, impact, cut &
tear, flex fatigue and chemical resistance are just a
few of the benefits delivered by a urethane cover.
The strength of urethane increases load bearing capacity
as well as service life by over two to three times as
compared to conventional rubbers. Our
state-of-the-art urethane processing system is capable
of metering, mixing and dispensing a wide variety of
hardnesses with no seams and no air bubbles or pockets. |

Rubber Rolls is the only roll covering facility in the
Southeast U.S. able to provide a castable, seamless
silicone cover. The ability to withstand high
temperatures of up to 400 degrees F, along with its
excellent release properties makes silicone the ideal
cover choice for embossing back-up rolls for plastics
and other film applications. |
